Read Jeremiah 23:5-6 and Isaiah 11:1-5If you go to decorate a Christmas tree (at least the real kind), you may have learned that not all the branches can bear all the heavy ornaments. Some are too weak or flimsy to hold up.
Next time you are looking for a strong branch, think about Jesus, who the Bible calls a Branch. What did the authors mean when they called him that? What strong qualities do you see in him?
